Today was one of the good days.

Any small business owner knows, it can be tough. So, it’s always been important to us to get the work/ life balance spot on.

Working flexible working hours has always been a dream of ours & I’m ever so grateful that BMM has allowed it to happen.

We still work like crazy, just at unsociable hours… & that’s how we like it.

A little insight into the daily happenings in the BMM workshop.

From website orders & bespoke builds through to coffee breaks & under the sofa ball retrieval.

Content creation has always been my weakest point of owning a small business, I’m terribly camera shy & struggle to keep up with the demands of the algorithm.

I’ve prioritised spending time on the bench over social media since I can remember & some things will never change…

However, hopefully soon I might start caring less & showing more, so followers old & new will see that Bloody Mary Metal is just me & Tristan (& our doggo, Kona 🐾) making weird & wonderful creations from our little workshop in Cornwall.

Today was a great day.

The lovely @barebonescornwall popped in to visit, with this beautiful Monstera specimen. One I’ll struggle to kill…

Aimee & I were the problem children together in school, but life got in the way & we lost touch. 16 years later & our mutual love of all things macabre brought us back together.

She now creates the most gorgeous pieces from the dead & I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of her around the BMM workshop.
